Dive into a jar of molasses! In this workshop, we will deepen our slow, ooey-gooey moves to achieve that slinky, sultry, intoxication look and feel of Tribal Bellydance. Drawing from yoga, pilates, feldenkrais, and Deb’s personal ‘stash”, this workshop will focus on core integration, spinal articulation, and building the foundational strength and flexibility in the hips, spine, and shoulders to directly support controlled, snake-like dancing; create ‘floating upper body’ dance posture for stage; and enage in healthy backbending and lay-backs to save your low back. All this will be applied to bellydance technique, and juicy fusion combos and choreography. She has often been coined the "Queen of Slink". Come learn Deb & Rose's unique tribal stylization.
Enhance and deepen your understanding of belly dance fundamentals with technique drills and tribal fusion combos. We will cover layering, shimmies, and up-tempo movements, great for any style of belly dance. This exciting Tribal Fusion workshop will include Rose's signature Core Integration material focused on building flexibility and targeted muscle group conditioning to improve your dancing. You will also learn a short choreography that highlights Rose's dynamic approach to contemporary belly dance.
Deb and Rose will both be available for private lessons while they are in San Diego. Please email info@tribalsdstyle.com to reserve a spot.

2008 brings many dreams and goals for Tribal SDstyle. Our main goals are to raise enough funds to file for official 501c(3) status and continue to increase support for our chosen charitable organizations. This year our recipients represent our goals of continuing to support performing arts and humanitarian organizations. The 2008 recipients are Humanitarian Circus and Coronado School of the Arts.
Humanitarian Circus is an organization that travels to war-torn and impoverished areas to bring entertainment, arts and laughter to it's displaced children.
